WAZA Travel is the South African’s guide to visiting Japan. Whether you want to explore Japan for the first time, or are returning for the umpteenth time, we aim to share the experiences of fellow South Africans and answer your travel questions with the help of Japanese people and regular travellers.

We also combine our founders’ own 15+ years of Japan travel experience with our network of seasoned travellers to give advice, develop travel itineraries and help you make the most of your visit.

Our Services

We offer three categories of services to help you plan your perfect trip to Japan:

1. Chat: an informal consultancy to give you high-level advice and help you structure your approach to travelling in Japan.

2. Plan: co-development of custom itineraries for independent travellers based on your personal interests and requirements.

3. Go: bespoke travel packages which include guides and interpreters to your required level of comfort.

WAZA works directly with Japanese business partners and family businesses and our emphasis is on an immersive and authentic Japan experience. We also work closely with South African experts of Japan, to ensure we offer a unique and custom experience.
